Hand in hand with its allies, ALAS has expanded its work to different countries in Latin America. The objective is to generate strong changes to benefit vulnerable children under age six in the region. Our work and commitment has led to scenarios in which the Foundation has been able to participate in the direct implementation of projects for early childhood, as well as creating spaces for reflection and generating knowledge on the subject.
We are interested in having a presence and creating spaces where we can contribute to the evolution of the field of early child development. Being, not only in the position to lobby State’s to put this important subject on their agenda, but to reach families and society in general so that they understand how important the first years of life really are and the vital role adults have in a child’s welfare. Thus through forums, seminars, summits, concerts and other spaces, ALAS has participated with its technical expertise, its capacity of assembly and its proximity to public and private leaders in order to contribute to the social and economic development of the Latin America region. What better way to do this, than by helping children reach their full potential!
